Why this matters:

Outbound links can pass signals from your website to the resources they reference.

Search crawlers can also follow an unqualified external link before they finish reviewing all internal pages.

Links to social profiles, partner websites, and other external resources should be reviewed separately from internal links to pages on your own website.

When an outbound link is necessary, I can add appropriate attributes such as target="_blank" and rel="nofollow noopener".
The destination opens in a new tab, and the relationship is explicitly described to browsers and search engines.

For projects that require stricter handling, external destinations can be implemented in a way that is not exposed as an ordinary crawlable link. This option requires additional work.

I will also identify outbound links that the website does not need, such as template credits, outdated agency links, or hidden spam links introduced by untrusted themes and plugins. Any removal is agreed with you first.

Images loaded directly from third-party websites should also be reviewed. When licensing allows it, storing the image locally makes it an internal website resource and removes a third-party dependency.
